This schemes is compatible with Kaleidoscope 1.5 thru 1.7, but unfortunately cannot be used with either the Doublescroll or SmartScroll control panels. It won't crash or anything, it just doesn't look 100% right due to the limitations of the "fluid" scrollbar architecture. I'm working on a DS/SS compatible version.
Alloy is, of course, freeware. Or rather, emailware...send me a note if you like it.
The idea behind it is simple, a grey metallic backdrop, with glass widgets.
There are two different types of scrollbars: the vertical one is an extension of the window text area, with a roll-off dropshadow, whilst the horizontal one is a ribbed metallic strip. The vertical ghost thumb is a ghostly white.;-)
Black and white is supported, but looks pretty naff.
The windowshade widget features a metallic hammer sound, and the menu hilights are in, you guessed it, alloy.
As usual in my schemes, buttons and checkboxes are recessed.
